Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Gynecological Oncology Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Feb 16, 2026. This opportunity offers a flexible four-day workweek with day shifts from 8A-5P, supporting surgical oncology and chemotherapy management in a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Details

- Schedule: Four days per week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), 8A-5P

Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with GYN/ONC surgeries, including removal of all malignancies via laparotomy and laparoscopy
- Manage and monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy, including ordering and coordinating treatments
- Provide perioperative and postoperative care for gynecologic oncology patients
- Collaborate effectively with oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and the broader clinical team
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
- Candidates must hold active licenses in both Oregon and Washington
- Required board certification: Gynecologic Oncology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience in gynecologic oncology surgery and chemotherapy management is essential
