Facility:
This medical center is part of a well-established healthcare network featuring Level III NICUs with Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultation and OB Hospitalist support. The facility provides comprehensive neonatal care services across two teaching hospitals, creating an excellent collaborative environment for advanced practice providers.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:
• Full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner position (will also consider Physician Assistants who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship/residency program) • Coverage provided at both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers • In-hospital work consisting of 12 or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am) • Manage 10-22 patient encounters per shift depending on location • Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants • Deliver patient education and work collaboratively with medical, nursing and support services • Exercise autonomy in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests • Attend deliveries and perform all procedures (high delivery room volume) • Work as part of a team of 13 NNPs in partnership with neonatal physicians • Experience with high-volume delivery room preferred (St. Vincent: 3,000 deliveries; Providence Portland: 4,500 deliveries) • Oregon license required (will consider candidates willing to obtain OR license) • Office space provided at both locations for use during and after shifts • Start date: March 1, 2025 • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
