Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular Surgery

Join our healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiovascular surgery for a locum tenens role in Spokane, WA. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic Level 1 trauma facility, providing exceptional patient care.

Job Details

Location: Spokane, WA - Renowned for its stunning landscapes and vibrant community.
Start Date: November 3, 2025
End Date: April 24, 2026
Duration: 25 weeks
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
Patient Encounters Per Shift: 10-15
Call Rotation: Included

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular surgery
Vein harvesting experience required
Certification in ACLS
Experience with Davinci Robotic Cardiac and Thoracic surgeries is a plus
Must be eligible for board certification
Preferably licensed in Washington state

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
Participate in call rotation and respond to calls from the nurses' floor
Ensure continuity of care by working 2 to 3 weeks back-to-back
Provide high-quality patient care in a Level 1 trauma facility
