Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (NOT contract).

Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

• Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment teams and work collaboratively with other disciplines in planning for the treatment of their patients
• Assess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and collaborate with the referral and intake department.
• Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients and perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care
• Provide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their care
• Complete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframes
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.
• Must see ages 12 and up

Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

• 1+ years of psychiatric inpatient clinical experience as a PMHNP required
• Must be licensed as a PMHNP
• Must be licensed as an NP in Washington or show proof of application
• DEA required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compensation and Schedule:

• $145K base salary plus RVU, but can be higher based on years of experience and skills
• $10K sign-on bonus!
• Monday - Friday schedule
