Position Description

Family Nurse Practitioner (20 hrs/wk plus full benefits!)

We are seeking a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to treat and work with the employees and families (ages 2+) at a health and wellness center.

This is a 20 hour per week position with full benefits. No on-call or weekends. We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays.

Hours: Mondays 8am-12pm, Thursdays & Fridays 7am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.
  • The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical assistant within the Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure
  • Qualified applicants should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
