New ENT procedure for chronic rhinitis

This will be an overview of chronic rhinitis along with treatment options as a means to educate and collaborate together on patient care. The goal is to provide help for those patients with chronic runny nose, congestion and post-nasal drip and work together in identifying when to treat and when to refer to a specialist.

Speaker: Ryan Stern, MD, Otolaryngology – Ear, Nose & Throat
Dr. Stern has cared for patients in the Pacific Northwest for almost two decades. He has served on surgical faculty at the University of Washington for over 10 years and has been a proud partner at Surgical Associates NW since 2007.
Dr. Stern earned his undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University with honors. He received his medical degree with honors from the New York University School of Medicine after having been awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Medical Research Fellowship which he completed at the University of California – San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Stern completed his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgical residency at the University of Washington. He also earned his Master of Public Health degree with honors at from the University of Washington.
Dr. Stern is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington. He has served on the surgical faculty of the UW since 2007. Almost every Monday he can be found training residents and providing care to our veterans at Seattle’s VA Hospital on Beacon Hill.
